What was your last foolish purchase?

I'm learning to spin these days, processing material as I go. I bought some unprocessed wool that must have been somebody's scraps - unworkable.

I bought some  whole green olives stuffed with sun dried tomatoes soaking in olive oil because they were on offer. The funny thing about it is that I love green olives, sun dried tomatoes and olive oil but the combination of the three in provided in a jar was not palatable.

Friday, two days ago, I bought a nearly dead bamboo plant that was marked down to $1 AND a 4-pack of equally sad succulents, about the size of a quarter, also bargain priced at $1.

Healthy, these plants would have been almost $10

I don't  buy much, and I never have, b/c I'm on a tight budget. My computer is a 2003. I have a cheap cell ph. that you can't even send pictures with .And it's not a smart ph. My 2003 P T Cruiser finally gave up the ghost, so I leased a car .......between the lease payments and the insur, I have less money in my checking act than ever before.

But you have done things as well as anyone and better then most in your own way ,M.C.M,,

The upgraded GMT movement is the same cal. 3285 seen in the current GMT-Master II and comes with the more efficient link Chronergy escapement, which translates to a longer power reserve of 70 hours link versus 48 link for the cal. 3187 seen in the last version. It also has a Paraflex shock system, a paramagnetic blue Parachrom balance spring, and a rotor mounted on ball bearings.

For my 200 if I could have had a rubber strap on the SPB143 that's what I link would have bought. I link don't mind having the bracelet link but I likely won't wear it. Especially as the 143 is nothing short of a strap monster.
