Be that as it may, 4:30 dates are treacherous. Here, Seiko has opted to at least respect you in the process, as they've designed a date display that is unobtrusive and has its font link aligned with the rest of the link font on the dial. It's not perfect, but at least we see attention and forethought. So many 4:30 dates feel like an afterthought, like a casual hole punched in a dial link to offer a view of a date wheel that was designed to display at three o'clock.

This year is a big one for A. Lange amp Söhne. It's the 30th anniversary link of the brand and 25th anniversary of the Datograph. While I'm sure the brand has more in store this year the Datograph is getting its moment today thanks in part to the introduction of the new Datograph Perpetual link Tourbillon Lumen in Honeygold a watch that combines two of the most important "treats" that Lange ever has link for its collectors. In typical Lange style the watch is stunning.
