A coupla years back we tried a female Prime Minister,,i refer to Julia Gillard,, she was a total disaster,,so of all the great female leaders,Thatcher,Merkel,Gillard,and now possibly Clinton,,,the last great female leader was Joan of Arc,,<<<<<<<>>>>>>>..

Presidents, Prime Ministers and even CEOs of companies, all get criticized and all are disasters in someone's mind. Any leader of anything NEVER does the right thing in the view of many, no matter what they do. So far, the majority of leaders of countries have been male, not female. I don't think it (success or failure) has one thing to do with gender.

Personally I don't really mind what gender leads our country {Canada} as long as they do a good job. I lean to the left myself so am always inspired by the few humanitarians that actually make it as leaders.

Fortunately this vintage example survived beautifully and the lume color is link just gorgeous especially against the black bezel and dial. The black bakelite bezel provides a link stark background for the luminous 5-minute markers and the quarter hours and it helps the inverted triangle at 12 stand out even more. Just like the bezel the lume color on the dial link is overall consistent and equally stunning with the thicker luminous 6-9-12 numeral configuration against the glossy black dial.
