- You process your file with the Quicken File Exchange Utility. This creates a .qdfx file
- You import that .qdfx file into a blank file in Essentials
When you launch Quicken, first allow it to update (very important). You will be prompted if you are new user, existing user, etc. Follow the instructions for existing Mac user and you will be walked through the process. You might be prompted to download a newer version of the Quicken File Exchange Utility.
