My partner and I disposed of him and his partner in the single elimination ladder roll off. They challenged us for 2nd place, and had a handicap of 6; ours was 16. His partner had some big splits and Crabby missed a couple very easy spares (I mean, any 1 pin is not a hard spare!). When it became obvious, in the 10th frame (it was that close) that we would beat them, the crabby bowler started squawking about losing by the handicap. My partner and I were silent, as was HIS partner. When the final scores were posted, we beat them by 2 pins scratch. Crabby didn't bother to notice THAT!
We didn't get THIS pin, but we got league champ pins, I got high average for the women (the other one got "most improved" - I went down 10 pins in average!) and my partner and I each got $200. Bowling with Ed was my best experience in bowling ever!
