That makes it really difficult. You have to stand beside a bon fire.

Yeah! I could do it when I was younger.(and bored)

Yes,back when i used to smoke, now it leaves me wondering why.??????..>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..""

My first ex husband taught me how to blow a smoke ring, but I've long since forgotten.

Have you listened to Smoke Rings In The Dark from Gary Allan? He is a sexy country crooner and I melt like hot chocolate when I hear him singing.

I can blow smoke but not smoke 'rings'.      :)

If I was dumb enough to inhale smoke into my delicate lungs anymore, yes, I could blow it out in rings....beautiful rings, actually.
Doctor told me smoking wasn't a good idea for me.

A person I knew told me her doctor encouraged her to smoke when her asthma acted up...said she could breathe better...of course, of course; what doctor doesn't recommend smoking for asthmatics?
I'm not sure why my doctor said it was "particularly" bad for me, more so than "in general". Sorry that doesn't make sense.

A doctor once told a friend of mine to go ahead and smoke because it would calm her down. That was many years ago and ironically, he, being a long time smoker, died of lung cancer.

    Very responsible medical advice, that.

That is unbelievable to me....now. I'm not sure what I thought about it at the time. I was probably a smoker myself when I heard about that (horrible) advice.

My dad was a smoker (Camel, unfiltered) until he developed cancer. He had lymph nodes and saliva glands removed, followed by chemotherapy (mid 1950's). The doctor told my mom his personality would probably change from all this, which it did. The jovial man became much more introverted, and I never knew the cheerful affectionate man my mother loved. Thankfully, my Army son doesn't get to smoke during BT. The other two are in the process of quitting, with help. YAY.
