Noooo I just can't when I think oh that's just not enough garlic or that's to much salt. Most of the time it works out but there are times that ,,,, well we'll just leave it at that.

I do the same as Ducky, if it's a new recipe I haven't tried before I'll stick to the recipe. I'm still writing recipes down to give to Roy's son and some are hard to figure out because I don't measure most of what I make, deviled eggs for example.

If it's a new recipe that I have not tried yet, I follow the recipe. After that, I might change a few things here and there. I sometimes change the amount of a particular ingredient too.

I try to follow the recipe, but I make up alot of stuff when I'm experimenting.
