          I saw a Roy Rogers and Dale Evans lunchbox when I was adding pictures to this question. You must have looked so sweet carrying your little lunchbox to the cafeteria

          Never had a lunch box. Never took my lunch to school. Hated the cafeteria but, oh well.....

            I remember the cafeteria serving spinach and we had to eat it before we could have dessert so I use to hide my spinach inside my milk carton. I don't think school cafeterias serve spinach anymore.

            Funny you should mention school lunch boxes, as one of mine was in my parents' stuff and now sits on a shelf in my garage, thermos included.  :D

              Mine was a brown paper bag that after eating contents could be folded up, placed in hip pocket, and used the next day.

                Oh the good ole paper bag. The smell from the contents inside the bag would permeate through the bag so by lunch time the mouth is watering.

                  I never had a lunchbox both Primary and High School, i bought my lunch every day, Pastie with sauce and a cream bun, the goody two shoes of today would have had a field day.  :)
