Depends on the severity of the break, your age, and general health. My church secretary broke her hip 3 months ago and is just completing rehab physical therapy. She's 74.  She returned to work on a limited basis after 9 weeks.

I have had a hip replacement,and it took 6 to 8 weeks before i could return to work,,so depending on what they done to your hip,,i imagine it would be inside 8 weeks..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..
