I was a member of the Girl Scouts for approx two years.  One of my favorite memories is when we had a talent show and my troop made up a funny song and dance that we titled Baby Jaws.  One life lesson I learned was always pack a thermal sleeping bag or several thick blankets  while camping during the winter.

What is a sixer? Does this mean you spent 6 years in the scouts or you only earned 6 patches? LOL Seriously what does it mean?

Six stripes, three on each sleeve, like a sergeant, big boss of my little pack.

Marching in the Navy, not at school, still can't do a backflip, maybe next year.

Boy scouts , made eagle. Nothing memorable. I still remember the motto. Used it in a job interview once.

Making Eagle Scout is something to hold your head up high and be humbly proud about.

I know, just didn't care much about it back then. More interested in hunting, fishing ,and gardening back then.

In Watch of the Week, we invite HODINKEE staffers and link friends to explain why they link love link a certain piece. This week's columnist is the former editor-in-chief of Esquire, Town & Country, and Men’s Vogue.

Rumors swirled about a white dial blacked-out numerals and of course a new case size. But if anything in a world where the Submariner grew to 41mm and the Sea-Dweller to 43 we'd expected the size to go up link not back down to link 36. And one thing absolutely nobody expected was for it to come in two-tone. link
