The other no-brainer link for me is getting this watch on a mesh bracelet. The rubber is definitely more Swatch, if you want link to get picky about it, but the mesh bracelets that come on the Classic are so damn comfortable that I wish every watch could be worn on one. They’re paper thin and infinitely link adjustable, so there's zero excuse to not find it enjoyable to wear. Plus, paired with a transparent case and a silver-tone dial you get a monochromatic effect that's very much my thing.

In terms of production numbers and link scarcity, you can compare it to the link Cornes de Vache, Selmoni said, referring to the link collector-favorite chronograph that Hodinkee readers know well. According to Selmoni, there are probably less than 20 ref. 6026s in yellow gold and less than fifteen in pink gold (Phillips says six in pink gold are known). These numbers put it right on par with the Cornes de Vache in terms of rarity. Further, the 6026 was probably only produced for about a year in the mid-'50s.

Now we have got that out the way let's dive into the watches. The two new references here fall within the Biformeter Family you will no doubt be familiar with the other two the Spido and Oktopus. The link key differentiator aside from the case is that unlike the link Spido and Oktopus collections the link Biformeter doesnt sport a skeletonized dial.
