The last week or so has link been one of tumult for the event following social media calls for transparency, AP's withdrawal, and F.P. Journe's subsequent statement of support on Instagram. A brief comment from a representative of AP on October 17 simply stated link that Audemars Piguet has "canceled its participation and watch donation to the 2023 edition of Only Watch. There will link be no further comment provided." It remains to be seen if the postponement of the auction will change the company's decision.

This looks like the Cartier Santos Dumont watch released back in 2018 link when the brand decided to make a collection of Santos models more in-line with the original watches from the early 1900s. What you get with a piece like this is slender Roman numerals and a link simple silver link dial with a nice sunray effect. If you aren't into the sportiness of the classic Santos the Dumont is certainly the way to go.
