      No. Just practice, practice, practice. She can do so at home by arranging all of her trophies and knocking them down.

            I think the right combination of weight, rotation, and speed makes the most difference, although a 10 pound ball is not going to have the same drive a 14 pounder has.

              bulletman, you're so right about delivery. Keeping my wrist under the ball and releasing with my fingers lifting out....consistency is the challenge!

              MsBob believe it or not, 35 years ago i played relief bowler, (fill in when a bowler was absent). in a league team called( The Gamblers), it was fun, also it did not cost me anything -- i hav'nt had a bowl for many years. :)

              We call it "sub" or "subbing" and not paying is a great perk! I get called once in a while to sub on a Thursday night, which makes for a long week of bowling (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are my league nights already). Much as I need to PRACTICE, I just don't feel like going bowling after all that!
