Never really tried many! Too expensive! Bought hamburger for 3# pounds at 1 dollar!  Made all kinds of things out of that! Lots of fat back then but what to do do?  Eating fat wasn't horrible then!

Ground beef is cheap, versatile and it tastes good.

I loved 'em all....except the ones with the transistors. They were too tough to chew.

Never had one when i was a kid, never even seen one, In oz when we had dinners like in your photos they were always freshly cooked. even if they were available my mother would have shunned them, nothing but the best for my father and her three sons.  :)

My favorite was also the turkey one. I can't imagine eating that stuff now. Ugh.

Old Fashioned??? H***, I had one for dinner last night. Never had them in my youth.

I say old fashioned because when I was a kid they were served in an aluminum container and could only be cooked inside the oven.

TV dinners were a real treat growing up , seriously. Mom always bought the Mexican dinners. It's difficult to screw up refried beans......

I have only ever eaten a couple TV dinners in my life ... both Turkey! It's hard to bleep up Turkey !  LOL

I was just starting on my quote-unquote journey and I thought I want something that nobody has and that has a retro vibe.
