My thought and prayers to all who live in eastern U.S.A involving 21 States with the Super Storm with heavy snow for at least 36 hours, according to the news everything will come to a standstill, advising all to stay indoors, bushfires in five states in OZ and extreme cold in the U.S.---- Unbelievable.

I am thankful i was not in New York with this type of weather being stuck in a hotel with possibly no power, no where to go.

My son is living in one of the affected states but he's visiting his dad right now in another state. My thoughts and prayers go out to all who will be caught up in this mess and may they all stay warm and safe.

CB, i feel for all of them as they really can't go anywhere as all flights have been cancelled, apparently the last storm of this magnitude there was no power to keep warm and no fuel could be dispensed.

I thought about the electricity going off, that's why I said, I hope they stay warm. Hopefully some have generators, battery operated heaters and lots of blankets etc.

It's so difficult for me to imagine that kind of paralyzing weather anywhere. We are getting a good amount of rainfall here in Central California, with snow in nearby Sierra Nevada Mountains. An occasional electrical outage, a minor inconvenience in the big scheme of things.
