http://time.com/4172484/yarloop-western-australia-wildfire-bushfire/  is informative, letting us know where the fires are, and how they are starting.  Yarloop village has been reduced to ash.  My prayers to those in harm's way.  :( 

Mainly in the West Rob.There have been some casualties sadly.Over 130 homes & businesses have been destroyed.Very worrying.

Always a devastating time in the Australian summer.Western Australia has been hit hard.

Appreciate  your thoughts and prayers, JDB -- at this time they think the fires were started by lightning, it has been a very hot summer here, unfortunately there will be more fires before the end of summer.

Jeepers! The last big fire we had here was the Bastrop Fire and it was big! Seems like just peanuts compared to you guys. Stay up wind. My heart goes out , I read The Thornbirds.......
