No, but I do know someone who was planning to disappear, fearing he was going to be arrested for attempted murder.  

I had a friend in high school whom we have never been able to locate to invite to class reunions. I saw his name registered on "classmates.com" once, but he deleted it soon afterward.

I don't personally know anyone who has disappeared. This question does remind me of  Patrick McDermott (Olivia Newton John's ex-boyfriend) who went missing in 2005 and was assumed to be dead after  allegedly falling off a fishing boat. He was found alive and living in Mexico in 2010 using a different name. 

McDermott had filed for bankruptcy, owing more than 30,000 dollars and many believed he staged his own death in order to cash out on a 100,000 life insurance policy for his son.

Nope. but I know a few I wish would disappear..

Watches should link be for everyone whether you're just getting into them link or have been collecting for years. Removing dated gender labels from watches is link not only a good first step to making the community more inclusive it's also almost literally the least we can do.
