A couple years ago, a woman with my exact maiden name contacted me through Facebook. A company I'd invested in was sending documents to her that were meant for me. It's startling to have others with your name.

I once googled my surname and too my surprise an Afro- American Family came up, got me wondering whether i have coloured relatives in the States, quite possible as an irish ancestor i believe migrated to Kentucky and his brother to Canada, and a further two brothers to Australia, be interesting to do a family tree.

I think seriously we are all mixed race really. I'm about as white and English as you can get, but my Dad had tight black curls just like a black man, what does that tell me , I'm not such a pure white man after all.
