Ok? I have to ask this, and I think we will all agree,"Does water freeze"? Or does water solidify? I'm confused.
The dictionary that I'm reading states: To be at a temperature at which ice forms. So does that mean, that when ice appears, water disappears when the temperture is(to be), say32degrees and lower? Or does the water and ice remain together? What do you need first for "water to freeze"? Water? temperature,or ice? I'm still confused. The dictionary also states: a solid can not be a liquid or gas. The dictionary states what a liquid is: A substance capable of flowing or of being poured. So water, if it's a liquid or when it's a liquid can be flowing or poured, is that what I'm to believe or is that a fact? I'm still searching where it says, Yes, water can freeze. So far I can't find that anywhere, please help?

It solidifies at 0 deg Celsius which is 32 deg Fahrenheit if you wish, and because it's cold it's called freezing.
