In addition to creating watches of its link own Squale whose name derives from the Italian word for "shark" was a major player in the production of dive watch cases. You might recognize vintage dive watches from the '60s '70s and '80s that featured the company's trademark case with the signature four o'clock crown. Blancpain Doxa and TAG Heuer all called on Squale for its cases. Blancpain even used the Squale case on its famous "Bund" link Fifty link Fathoms for the German military!
