Uh huh....while you're sitting in a movie theater or restaurant or simply walking through a shopping mall. No one can possibly anticipate what will happen next nor where it will happen. Another hand gun in your dresser drawer or glove compartment of your car or sitting on your kitchen counter, will not help. Sadly, it may only help the robber who does a break and enter at your house, kill YOU!

No! Nor do I have any friends or relatives who do. "Hand guns" are never even a part of any discussion, except in regard to our neighbors to the south.

I don't own one personally But they are here at home! Handy in different places! This includes out doors! Don't carry one , but many states are making this possible. Saw an advertisment last night of a young mother carrying hers where ever she goes!

Yes I do... We have a few hand guns, and long arms also. everything from a civil war era pistol, My grandfathers single shot rifle and shotgun to...... Yes the modern dreaded assault weapon AR.. I personally feel that label is very liberal oriented... You pull the trigger one time it fires once you pull and hold the trigger it still fires only one round at a time. you paint the d*** thing brown its a hunting rifle, paint it black and it magically turns into an assault weapon. After reading several of the questions and answers on here I'm sure theirs quite a lot of you that have a full head of steam and are ready to start bitchen and putting labels on me too. My reasons range from personal protection to personal enjoyment. I'm guessing there are some on here that play golf?? I detest chasing a little white ball around for half a day. Put that little white ball on a pedestal at 100 yards/meters and a rifle and I can have fun all day, Hopefully I would need a lot of them but you never know. I was trained down at FT Benning some 35 years ago and am still proficient it these types of weapons, along with my wife.. I do have a gun safe that tips the scales at 1000lbs empty and smaller easier accessible safes. To the mindset that Were just gonna get shot, I would rather be firing back than just stand there and do nothing but watch everyone die. If there are people out there that would put there family in a corner and huddle over them that's there choice.. This is mine

Only one on here that I know of, who plays golf. Correction: Golf is not chasing a little white ball around. Ever tried it? Probably not...too busy at the rifle range getting ready to shoot the enemy who is going to let you know the date and time of his arrival? Many Americans are angry, a sure sign of deep seated fear. You can't win with more and more guns. Impossible. So many have tried to tell the U.S. that but...

See I new better that to spout off Duck... First, Yes I have played golf,, you must play a totally different game than I did.. In my version I hit a little ball, chased it, hit it again, chased it, hit it again, chased it till it went into this little cup in the ground.. I did that 9 freaking times.. I personally did not find that enjoyable. Also I need to know why everyone thinks Americans are angry or scared because we own guns? You make it sound like I have 2-3 hand guns and an AR slung over my back all the time, I think not, and no I don't carry one while out and about. I apparently live in a more civilized part of the US. This was a simple question and I answered it truthfully.. I'm not gonna sugar coat any buddy's a$$ just so they will agree and I'm not gonna put up with the s*** of getting ripped up for what I believe in. You don't like guns and want nothing to do with them I can respect that, But don't get on your high horse and start bitchen at me because of what I believe in....

Duck you do have every right to kick me off of this site. As for calm, yes I am With a mild temperament , I just get so sick and tired of people blaming everything on the guns. I have not one person comment trying to fix this crap or even wondering what's wrong with people now. growing up in high school we had guns in trucks, cars, but never once though about shooting anyone, you went out squirrel hunting or the like after school. Yes we had fights in school if you got your butt kicked you took your whipping and forgot about it you never even gave a thought about getting a gun. Heck I along with others had Buck or Kbar folding lock blades on out sides but they sure as heck weren't there for sticking or slashing someone. Isn't it about time we started thinking and trying to figure out what's wrong with people now a days? I personally do not see this country ever being disarmed, They can pass all the laws they want to but I do believe most people will not comply. Sure there will be thousand's you see on TV turning them in and most news channels having a hay day broadcasting it but in reality most would not do so.. Also just my opinion they should figure out how the get them out of the hands of the criminals, drug lords, gangs, idiots in general. In ending you may terminate me from this site for my rant if you deem necessary. But before you do could you please tell me how you people play Golf??

Calling JDB is offensive and derogatory. The definition of a redneck is slang and a derogatory term for a poor white person, often who lives in the rural Southern United States and who often has conservative or bigoted attitudes. An example of a redneck is a poor, uneducated white person in the South who engages in prejudiced behavior.
Personally, I don't see why "conservative" has to be considered in a derogatory manner, nor why it is attached to prejudice and bigotry. Aside from that, I don't think JDB qualifies for the definition.

Yes, I do. It was gifted to me at a time when a gun in the house was not a smart idea. It’s a 9mm, STAR model, irreplaceable, and not to be fired ever as parts are no longer available. It’s in my safe. But I do own a gun!
