I've had numerous accidents with deer, the vast majority with Buck during "rut" season. I could buy a very nice luxury vehicle with the combined cost of the damage to my cars. That dash cam wouldn't have survived one of my accidents.

Yes. Was driving to the coast very late at night. Saw the eyes up ahead. Down shifted and started swerving in the opposite direction. The deer turned around. I swerved to the other way and once more to a lower gear. The deer turned around again. This went on and on until I was at about 5 mph and hit the thing on it's rump. It ran away and off....

No, but I've come very close to hitting a moose. Man, those things are big up close.

It was at night and I saw the legs before the rest of him.

NO,BUT i'VE RUN INTO A 'ROO. I didn't get time to breathalize him.He hopped away & left me with about a thousand dollars worth of damage to my car.

I had a deer run into my car! Never saw her until I heard something hit passenger side door! Then saw deer ears in side mirror! She ran off and I had a very small dent in my door!

Thankfully I've not hit any deer, but I've come close. I've hit a few flying birds,  slithering snakes and a curb or two. :)
