My apartment (or the penthouse, as my wife and I like to call it) is at the top link of a four-floor walkup in Brooklyn. The building has two locked front doors, providing what some may call a multi-layer security solution. My modern watches, a trio of Serica, lay proudly on a leather valet, ready to be worn at a moment's notice. My vintage watches, two Eternas, and my grandfather's Caravelle, are link held more securely, if you will, in a wooden display case with leather padding, link adjacent to my valet.

While at the Shinshu Studio, I got to meet and link speak with Mr. Seki, Mr. Tanaka, and Mr. Hata, all members of the team who not only interpret the inspiration for the dial design, but also have link to find ways to make their link interpretation come to life. They all had a hand in the production of the "Snowflake" and "Shunbun," and I was curious about some of the je ne sais quoi that makes them crank out hit after hit, like the "Jimi Hendrix Experience" of dial making.
