The Sea-Dweller link is the boldest watch Rolex makes today (aside from the Yacht-Master II; we don't talk about the Yacht-Master II). It has serious history, while maintaining the contemporary tool-watch bona fides to make it appealing to those who study specs while still having the cool factor to attract the Jet link Set. In my opinion, they were quite foolish to reject the Speedmaster Professional with this design link as a commemorate piece for Tintin, on the other hand I wonder how the market would have responded to a link watch that commemorates a link comic (other than Snoopy).
