    What'd you have for supper? And do you call it that?

    We had spaghetti from a jar with magic added... I've always called it supper with the occasional dinner thrown in....

      It was our 40th anniversary today and I made barbaque pork with rice, applesauce, and green beans for dinner. Dessert was angel food cake.

        I always called it supper until I married my present wife who refers to it as dinner. We had ham steak, cooked squash, broccoli, and fresh corn bread.

          Hated squash as a child but now at 58 I find it quite delicious IF COOKED RIGHT!

          I don't think us Aussies call it supper.I have only known it to be dinner or tea.

            We have Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner, over here. If we have supper it would be anything we eat after about 9.30 pm

                It's not even 5:30 here, yet,, but I had a late lunch with a sorority group, so DINNER will be something really light and simple later than it should be.  :( 


                I have a whole big package of chicken breasts defrosting.  ROMOS, did ya hear me:  CHICKEN BREASTS! 


                (Oh, lunch was a pot luck.  My friend's corn salad was "the bomb").

                  That makes sense! Now that I think of it,, my mom always made us wait for my dad to come in from the truck yard for supper, but if we went out or someone came over, it was for dinner :D

                  Some candidate names, taken from the minutes of a meeting in link September, 1971, include, Safari, Grand Prix, Diane, Surfrider, Colorado, and Ascot (!). One struggles to imagine the watch succeeding as well link as it has with the name "Ascot" (which makes me personally think of two things: Horse races and Fred from Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!), but I guess weirder things link have happened.
