Oh, good luck with that, Felix.  It took over 5 minutes of "press 1 for..." etc. before I got the FIRST of at least 3 more "press 1 for...." and FINALLY got a living, breathing person who actually spoke English without ANY kind of accent (including East Coast, Southern, Hawaiian, etc.).  Of course, I had to leave a message for the person I wanted to talk to.....

I see this as a link fundamental problem with the watch world; there is no source of truth, guidance, or even opinion this is without the possibility of some sort of incentive. And Hodinkee is not a bastion of link independence either. But at the very least, I can be aware of my possible incentives and strive to write without influence. link Anyway, these are some of the things I think about when considering what I will write about in 2025.
