    What kind of plant is in my avatar (today)..... What are you most proud of for having grown?

    I planted 5 cotton seeds and got two plants. Cotton is exploding! And no, it's not cotton in my avatar.

        I have a few, and it seems at least one or another is always in bloom, seldom all at once. Love them.

        Cool! I live too far north to try cotton!  Did you get any cotton off it?

          Oh, yes. 6 bolls have put out and 12 are about to. I'm ginning the cotton myself and am going to learn to spin!

          The best "things" I ever grew were my three sons, of course!!!!!
