When a number ends in 0-4, you round back to 0. For example, rounding to the nearest "10": 151 would round to 150; 1293 would round to 1290. For numbers ending in 5-9, round up. 165 becomes, as ROMOS said, 170. 99 would become 100. Rounding those same numbers to the nearest 100: 151 = 200, 1293 = 1300; 165 = 200, 99 = 100. You look at the number to the right of the place value to which you are rounding.
