I had the front discs replaced on my Audi last year at about 55,000 miles. I thought  that was a bit early,  but took the word of the dealer. I may have been done , but you don't  know for sure, and this was the main local Audi  dealer, so you expect them to be honest.

They will generally machine the discs once or twice before replacing them,,depending on how much they have to machine off,,A disc does have a minimum thickness before it becomes unsafe..>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..
