mmm...mmmm Ducky! Saute' in real butter with a clove or two of smashed garlic, a pinch of salt and pepper and a little squeeze of lemon at the last ... then muncha buncha Fiddleheads .. yum!

I've had a few warheads. LOL
This is the first time I've seen fiddleheads. Sure would like to try some. I found a picture with a recipe that looks very good.

I've seen plenty, they grow all over (if they are what I think they are). Never heard of eating them but I'll try 'em out. Did you know CATTAILS are edible? From"flower" to root, the latter tasting sweet......
