Hey there Terry, the answer to your question is no. Only the moderators have the tools to delete double answers and comments. What you can do if you accidentally double up is go back and edit the second one by erasing everything and then replace it with a period/dot, a letter, deleted by member, double up, or anything to your liking.

that's why I put a few dashes -- - - - after a comment that I've deleted......other wise, it won't delete. Weird.
It took me a while to figure that out too MCM. I don't know why it won't delete, but as far as I know it's always been this way.
My go-to is to edit out the comment and replace it with "duplicate answer" or something similar
