I loved my mother's old ^ mango and so did she. When she moved into a retirement home, we gave the mango to her church for the ladies to iron table cloths, etc. One Sunday , I saw it out by the curb. That was sad :'-(
I do spray stains with "Shout" or "409" I do use fabric softener sheets in the dryer. I have to go to a laundry-mat In summer I use liquid softener as I like to hang clothes out on a line to dry!

I have some stuff for stains, too, and use "pods" and cold water for my clothes, hanging them to dry (everything, even jeans and socks).
The towels and sheets are washed in hot water, hung to dry in the warm months, put in the dryer with a fabric softener sheet in the cooler months.
No fabric softener added to the wash. My daughter-in-law, however, has an army of bottles for different washing needs.

Not really, I use the cheap detergent from Sam's culb, put washing soda with it, then add ammonia. I also put ammonia in the bleach dispenser instead of bleach.DO NOT MIX BLEACH AND AMMONIA... Then I put vinager in the fabric softener slot..
