    Large plants could cause condensation but poor ventilation is a more likely cause.

    No, they don't . I have many houseplants by my bay window and bow window, and there's no sign of condensation on the windows.  I wish it  was my humid in here. The humidifier on my furnace hasn't worked for a LONG time. That's a whole  ' nother story .
