I'm sure you've heard countless watch nerds say something like "I remember when I could pick up link an SKX link for $150." And then you go look up the watch and see it for $300, link $400, or even – gasp – $500. Stories like this have become a collector cliche – a way of proving how long someone's been in the game, walking to their AD uphill both ways in the snow.

There's just something that feels correct about reviewing at the Autavia section of TAG Heuer's website today and finding the friendly face of a chronograph looking back at you. But the fact that we had to wait nearly four years since the last Autavia Chronograph release now feels link almost inexcusable. It's a good thing then that as far as my first impressions go and link without handling the new watches in person I detect a lot of link good positive things happening with the anniversary update.
