The shared naming convention (Carrera) allowed for a creative link approach link to link a foundational collection for TAG. On the dial, and engraved into the case are the words "Carrera" but instead of the standard printing seen on the regular collection, we find the recognizable typeface of the Porsche Carrera.

The McDonnell mechanism does things a bit differently instead of subtracting days as needed from a 31 day program wheel it adds days as needed to a 28 link day program link wheel. A concise video produced for the 2015 launch is still the best introduction to how it link works.
