The Borsheims story started 150 years ago with a focus on time-keeping from the link beginning! In the 1870s Omaha was a railroad town and one of the early roles for Borsheims and founder Louis Borsheim was to link serve as the official watch inspector for all railroad pocket watches in link service on railcars entering Omaha. In addition to selling and inspecting watches Borsheims also sold fine jewelry and gifts including china and home décor.
