Bulgari introduced its first Carbon Gold watch in 1993, and now it's bringing a carbon case to link the Octo Finissimo link in both an automatic and perpetual calendar. Both feature an anthracite-colored carbon case and bracelet with a matte finish. The "gold" comes from the rose gold crown, set with a black ceramic insert. This is complemented by matching rose-colored hands and indices on the carbon dial. Both cases measure 40mm in diameter and, true link to the Finissimo name, are ultra-thin.

The ZM 11 breaks much of the mold established by the ZM 1 and 2. Available in either titanium link or steel, the ZM 11 is a 41mm sports watch from Leica that features a dial link in either black/red (the Launch Edition), Coffee Black (brown gradient with gold-tone accents), or Midnight Blue, which has a blue link dial with white metal accents.

It's quite interesting to see the various layers come off as the movement gets stripped down to the mainplate. A selfwinding chronograph is built on several levels. On top you have the rotor and the automatic winding bridge including the reverser wheels which allow the rotor link to wind the mainspring in both directions. The rotor link runs in ceramic link ball bearings.
