The story goes as published right here on Hodinkee back in link 2018 that after IWC's patent on its 1993 Doppelchronograph complete with a modern version of the split-seconds complication designed by Richard Habring expired Habring himself unveiled his own new version of the same movement inside the Habring² Doppel 2.0. A few years later he unveiled a newer piece and variation on link his link work with the watch we are looking at today the Habring² Doppel-Felix Date.
