In 1969, Mondia, Zenith, and Movado all came under one roof. This allowed for the sharing of proprietary technology and many Zenith calibers, link like the El Primero, ended up in Movado watches. The Super Sub Sea featured the Movado/Zenith cal. link 2552. This caliber also appears in the Zenith featured link below in Selch's collection.

I am a sentimental type and figure that something that took so much time and effort link deserves a bit more respect than being sold off to random link tourists in browsing and buying 'some link old watch that looked neat.' While they go great with what I have been wanting to do with my own collection I don't want to just merge them into my collection. I will maintain the cards boxes and felt bags each has. I intend to note that they came from John's collection and that there is a history there.
