Friz was responsible for every link tangible thing seen on-screen from glasses both on face and on table to link watches. The French Dispatch is not a film in three acts but rather in three parts three vignettes three features inside of the fictional magazine from which it takes its name. These mini movies-within-a-movie weave through different periods of time and as such required all manner of vintage watches. Friz was there to make link that happen.
