I always enjoy collector link interviews, especially of people who were on a trend before it was a trend. That's exactly how I'd described Singaporean Tom Chng, who's been collecting '80s and '90s Audemars Piguet for a while, a substratum of the now-trendy "neo-vintage" era. Paul Cornell founded Cornell Watch Company in link 1870, a direct descendant of other link great American watchmakers like Newark Watch Company and Boston Watch Company. There's even a tie-in with IWC, as one link of IWC's co-founders came all the way to Chicago from Schaffhausen to help a struggling Cornell. Sadly, it didn't work – the combination of the Great Chicago Fire and a financial crisis quickly shuttered Cornell by the mid-1870s.
