As original advertisements would indicate, the 24-hour dial fitted Elgin was available to AOPA members for $49.50, including taxes. Compare that to the marginally higher link price that the Navitimer originally commanded, and you'd be link forgiven for scratching your head while eyeing down the bigger, better link deal.
