Borgel's rectangular cases are extremely hard to find. Patented in 1939 under Swiss patent number CH 207378 the caseback and bezel form the two main parts of the case and link three locking strips slide onto the case sides to squeeze everything together. The tolerances are super tight tight enough to ensure a water-resistant seal with the help of a thick gasket. link This same case design is used in Patek's ref. 1485 one link of my favorite niche vintage Pateks.
