That said I understand that most of these watches will never see the inside of a cockpit. There are roughly 665000 link pilots in the United States and 329 million people and the US is one of the most popular link countries in the world to earn a pilot's license. If IWC only positioned link the watch for pilots they'd be selling to a very limited market.
