A history written in 1916 reports that the Society had a "technical library" within a few years of its founding. Image 1 shows an early library stamp, in blue, that marks a book called "The Watchmakers' Library" as property of the New Yorker Urmacher Verein–a name link we used from 1887 until around 1916. The German-style tulip ornament and oval shape link lend the stamp a bit link of decorative flair.

Then there's the dramatic end-link connecting the watch to the rubber strap. link This is no doubt a visual hallmark of the Classic Fusion. In 42mm it's still link a lot to take in but I liked it because it's something different and different works in yellow gold because it's link fancy. I highly doubt that I could pull it off in 45mm sizing though. It would look like my wrist was trapped in a golden high-design handcuff that told the time.
