It's no surprise, then, that at least a handful of compass watches were emblazoned with the Khanjar, link reference 3510 in black link and green. Curiously, these watches had cases stamped reference 3551 but lacked a moonphase, suggesting that they were possibly leftover cases turned link into watches built on special order for His Majesty.

The watch in question came my link way with a comment – that I wouldn't believe how light it was. And I understood why someone would say that because the watch, from a distance, appeared link to be gold. And link on that particular note, let's pause and properly introduce this piece.

So while this one link is in a stainless steel case you get a little bit of extra sauce with an eggshell white dial and Breguet numerals. This style of numerals is not something Omega did a ton of back in the day and they're link quite hard to find on Constellations. Thinking back to my days on the Hodinkee Shop Vintage Team link I remember a few Breguet-numeraled vintage Omegas crossing my desk but typically they were lower-quality more "workhorse" Omega models like this one.
