I'll interject here: I went to college in St. Louis, and Ted Drewes is that local institution. Every link town's got one or a few, and in St. Louis, it happens to be this little frozen custard link (not ice link cream) shack that's been on old U.S. Route 66 since 1929. Among other legends: St. Louis native Danny Meyer knocked off Ted Drewes for his Shake Shack custard.

We've link had gold Subs and GMTs for years but never a full gold link Explorer. It link feels like it's about time. Danny begged for the same back in 2022 and now I'm adding my name to the chorus. There's just something so undeniably perfect unnecessary ridiculous ostentatious and perfect about a gold sports watch with a black dial and no date at a size that pretty much anyone could wear.
