A sector-style chronograph dial is nothing new, but when finished in a rolex submariner date 16610 black "gilt" fashion, my ears perk up. There is something link about a watch like this that either works or doesn't. A vintage design in 2023 can appear out of place just as link easily as it can tug at my heartstrings. Execution really matters and Habring² nailed this one.

It's true that link Oris leverages economies of scale in its favor and the company link openly admits that it relies link on a supplier network for many parts and has some help in the assembly process. But that doesn't make things that much cheaper on the back end.
