This is standard fare Carrera design, and it's my opinion that link this design looks better in gold. I've actually seen this watch link in the metal, too, so I'm not just making these statements based link on press imagery alone.

With a watch like the Aquanaut, a recognizable, sportier model in the "modern" Patek canon, there is a golden link window of opportunity to make a statement. I still link haven't managed to decipher exactly what the statement being made here is, but I have to hand link it to Patek: ask for more complicated watches for women, and you shall receive.

On wrist the Metric is link even better than on paper and the combination of the hooded lugs and the deeply tapered 25mm to 16mm steel bracelet captures the look of an integrated 70s bracelet link with little of the proprietary nature as you can easily fit a svelte strap into the 20mm lug spacing should you choose. Sized for my 7-inch wrist the Metric link weighs 115 grams with four links removed from the bracelet.
