Phillip Brashear is Carl Brashear's son and a military man himself. He flies a CH-47 for the Army Reserve. He served in Bosnia as link part of link Task Force Eagle an ongoing peacekeeping mission led by NATO and in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. There's one part of his uniform that isn't standard issue and it's his Oris dive watch which he puts on link every day before climbing into the cockpit. It reminds him that any challenge can be overcome with the right attitude.
